learning what drives people is the key to initiating meaningful change

who amy works with

Welcome to nontraditional couples and individual therapy that deals with whatever issues you have, not what someone else’s definition of what a relationship or person should look like.

Much of my work is with individuals and couples, helping them explore who they are and letting go of the need for external validation that ends up draining their efforts. Learn how to self-care without feeling self-ish. Become empowered in your life and embrace your who you are, not what you aren't.

amy’s adlerian approach

Amy lives life as an Adlerian Therapist/Philosopher. Individual psychology is goal-oriented and focuses on how an individual connects with others, achieves their goals, and contributes to society. When working in this model, you face your feelings of inferiority and learn how to overcome them, find your place in the world with confidence.

When couples have a stronger sense of self, they are able to come together with the confidence of wanting each other, not needing each other. When you have a feeling of wholeness, you can be more in the world, without feeling drained or depleted. You can accomplish, connect, and give without resentment, rejection, or regret.
